Dar es Salaam. Indonesian President Joko Widodo is set to arrive in Tanzania as part of his African tour.
Mr. Widodo kicked off his tour in Kenya, his first stop. He is scheduled to visit Tanzania, Mozambique, and South Africa for his first trip to Africa.
"This is my first visit to the African region, which is intended to strengthen solidarity among the countries of the global south," he said.
"Indonesia was the founder and host of the Asia-African Conference in 1955. Indonesia also played an important role in giving birth to the Non-Aligned Movement at that time," he said earlier via social media.

Tanzania’s exports to Indonesia include cloves, cotton, tobacco, cocoa, copper, and ground nuts, while Indonesia’s main exports to Tanzania are edible crude palm oil, machinery parts, chemical products, paper, and garments.
