Dar es Salaam. Mbeya Urban legislator, Joseph Mbilinyi’s mother, Desderia Mbilinyi, has died at the Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) where she had been admitted for treatment.
A statement released on Sunday, August 26 by MNH, says the Chadema outspoken lawmaker’s mother died today at 9am.
“She had been admitted at ward number 18 where her health deteriorated during the night. She was taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where she passed away,” reads part of MNH brief statement.
The statement says her body has been preserved at the hospital’s mortuary.
