Njombe miracle boy dies in Mbeya hospital
A child who survived from the killing in Njombe has passed away, while undergoing treatment in Mbeya hospital.
Njombe. Meshack Myonga, a four year old boy, who were found alive with, horrible wounds on his neck recently after being kidnapped by unknown people has died, while undergoing medical checkup at Mbeya referral hospital.
According to the deceased mother, Ms Rabia Mlelwa, the boy passed away at around 2 PM, as he was undergoing medical checkup.
“The doctors called me at around 2 PM and told me that my son has died…they said Meshack didn’t stand any chance of surviving due to the serious wound he sustained in his neck,” Ms Mlelwa told The Citizen in a telephone interview.
The boy was allegedly abducted by an unknown person on December 23, 2018. When he was found later by a ‘Good Samaritan’ – a woman – in a forest at Mji Mwema in Njombe District, the boy was unconscious, with his throat partly slit.
