Shein appoints new government heads

According to Revolutionary Council Secretary and Chief Secretary Dr Abdulhamid Yahya Mzee, all the appointed leaders are required to report to the State House tomorrow at 14:30pm for being sworn-in.
Zanzibar. Zanzibar President and Revolutionary Council Chairman Dr Ali Mohamed Shein has today appointed leaders of various government ministries.
According to a statement issued by the Information Auditorium, the appointments are effective from April 18, 2016 as the president has appointed Dr Abdulhamid Yahya Mzee to double as the Secretary of the Revolutionary Council and the Chief Secretary.
Salum Maulid Salum becomes the Secretary General in the President’s Office as well as the Chairman of the Revolutionary Coubncil while his deputy is Salmin Amour Abdulla.
In the President’s Office, Regional Administrations and Local Government, Radhia Rashid Haroub is the Permanent Secretary while Kai Bashir Mbarouk becomes the Deputy Permanent Secretary.
The President’s Office, Constitution, Justice, Public Service and Good Governance will be under the Permanent Secretary, Asha Ali Abdulla while Public Service Deputy Permanent Secretary is Yakout Hassan Yakout.
The President has also appointed Kubingwa Mashaka Simba as Justice and Good Governance Deputy Secretary while Joseph Abdulla Meza is the Permanent Secretary in the Second Deputy President’s Office and his deputy is Ahmed Kassim Haji.
Khamis Mussa Omar has been appointed as the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Finance and Planning while Ali Khamis Juma becomes the ministry’s deputy permanent secretary.
Bakari Haji Bakari becomes the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Marketing while Dr Juma Malik Akili becomes the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Health and his deputy is Halima Maulid Salum and Dr Jamala Adam Taib is the Director General.
Khadija Juma Bakari has been appointed the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training while the deputy is Abdulla Mzee, who is for Planning and Operation Affairs and Madina Mjaka Mwinyi becomes Academic Deputy Permanent Secretary.
The Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Lands, Water, Energy and Environment is Ali Khalil Mirza while Juma Ali Juma becomes the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources, Fisheries and Livestock while his deputy is Maryam Juma Abdulla.
The Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Labor, Empowerment, Elderly, Youth, Women and Children is Fatma Gharib Bilal while her deputy is Maua Makame Rajab.
The presidential appointments have also seen Omar Hassan Omar becomes the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Information, Culture, Tourism and Sports while his deputy is Dr Amina Ameir Issa.
Mustafa Aboud Jumbe becomes the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Works, Communication and Transport while is deputy is Shomari Omar Shomari.
