Speaking to Mwananchi, Kilango, who is a Member of Parliament for Same East (CCM), said, "It is true that he has died in Dar es Salaam."

William was a famous blogger in and outside Tanzania. He was the owner of Lemutuz blog and Lemutuz online TV.

He will be paid final respects on May 15 at Karimjee Grounds and will be buried in Dodoma on a day between Wednesday and Thursday, according to his close friend Kinjekitile Kingunge.

"We are waiting for his father, John Malecela, who is expected to arrive in Dar es Salaam this evening. Then it will be known if our loved one will be laid to rest in his eternal home on Wednesday or Thursday," he said.

Speaking of what could be the source of Le Mutuz's death, Kingunge said the deceased had heart complications.

"Our brother has heart problems, but he was fine until last night; suddenly this morning he felt sick and was taken to a Mnazi Mmoja hospital, which is close to his home," he said.
