Dodoma Jiji struggle
Dodoma Jiji FC struggled to make an impact, failing to create clear chances against Simba’s well-organized defense. Goalkeeper Ally Salim started between the posts before being replaced by Hussein Abel in the second half.
Dodoma’s top scorer, Paul Peter, who has seven goals, showed determination, but his team’s defense was porous, allowing Simba’s attackers too much space. Goalkeeper Allain Ngeleka was forced into multiple saves as Simba continued to press forward.
Despite Coach Mecky Mexime making several substitutions, including introducing Abdi Banda, Dodoma Jiji could not withstand Simba’s relentless pressure.
This defeat marks Dodoma Jiji’s heaviest loss since their promotion to the top flight. It is also Simba’s biggest league win of the season, surpassing Yanga’s two 6-1 victories over KenGold and KMC at the same KMC Complex Stadium.
