Kerino, who plays off handicap 15, beat J Brown by two shots. He was out for 44 and in for 41 to gross 85, his best score for the tournament, which handed him the final silverware of the year ahead of Christmas and New Year celebrations.

The winner said it was at the par four 14th when he enjoyed his golf most after chipping in from outside the green to sink his only birdie of the day.

However, things did not work well for him when he spoiled his good run with bogey.

The winner also impressed during the CDF trophy staged at the same course in October.

Three handicapper Seif Mcharo played a good round notching seven over par 79 for an adjusted score of four over par net 76 to claim divisison A runners-up trophy. Mcharo was out for 39 and in for 40.

Ten handicapper J. David was declared division B winner for his net score of two over par 74 to beat Enock Magire to the runners-up spot.

Twenty handicapper S.Mulenga netted 85 to win the division C over C. Otieno who returned net score of 91.

Despite heavy griefs for loss of his lovely mother last month, veteran 16 handicapper Saidi Nkya still managed to card a stunning net score of level par 72.

He is the senior winner by massive seven shots adrift of runners-up J.Tom.

In ladies division, Tayana Williams posted four over par 76 to beat Mwanaidi.

The day-long championship was jointly sponsored by Tanzania National Parks (Tanapa), Wia Group and Social Security regulatory Authority and SSRA.
