Recently honoured at the esteemed 200 CEOs Business Forum, Puma Energy’s success story is a testament to her leadership, dedication to quality, and passion for the well-being of Tanzanians.

Celebrated leadership at the 200 CEOs Business Forum

Ms Fatma’s exceptional leadership was recognised at the 200 CEOs Business Forum with two prestigious awards: Pinnacle Woman Leader of the Year and International Oil Company CEO of the Year.

These accolades reflect her influence in reshaping Tanzania’s energy sector and underscore the company’s stance as a trusted, innovative leader in the region.

These awards are more than recognition—they affirm her ability to lead the firm through industry challenges while staying true to the company’s core values of reliability, innovation, and com-munity-focused growth.

Expanding access to drive economic growth

Puma Energy’s strategic expansion aligns closely with Tanzania’s economic development ambitions, ensuring that reliable energy reaches underserved areas. In October, Puma launched a new station in the rapidly growing Kigamboni District of Dar es Salaam.

This station not only serves as a refueling point but is also set to become a hub of economic activity in the region. The momentum continues with a significant expansion in Zanzibar scheduled for December, underscoring Puma’s commitment to provide accessible energy solutions across Tanzania.

Advancing sustainable energy initiatives

It is within her stewardship, Puma Energy has embedded sustainability into every aspect of its operations. The company’s initiatives include solar energy for industrial clients and LPG solutions, promoting clean, reliable energy sources that reduce environmental impact.

By incorporating solar power at its facilities and introducing innovative products like Puma’s advanced lubricants, Puma Energy is playing a pivotal role in Tanzania’s shift toward greener energy practice.

Empowering women and strengthening communities

The madam CEO’s commitment extends beyond energy, with a strong focus on social responsibility and women’s empowerment. This October, Puma launched Mama Lishe Appreciation Day to honour local female food vendors (Mama Lishe) who are vital contributors to the Tanzanian economy.

Working in partnership with the Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Puma distributed 1,050 LPG cooking gas cylinders to Mama Lishe across Dar es Salaam’s districts.

This initiative provides these women with safer, cleaner energy options, supporting their businesses and improving public health by promoting environ-mentally friendly cooking alter-natives. Fostering stronger customer connections.

Customer satisfaction is at the heart of Puma Energy’s philosophy. Under her leadership, the company celebrated Customer Service Week with a series of events and community outreach to honour customer loyalty and strengthen community bonds.

Her customer-centric approach has fostered a culture of open communication and service excellence, ensuring that the energy company remains a trusted partner for Tanzanian households and businesses alike.
