Mwinyi to grace CBE's business forum

Dodoma. President of Zanzibar, Husein Mwinyi will on Tuesday November 15, open the third Business and Economic Development conference organised by the College of Business Education (CBE).

During the two-day conference, the results of more than 100 studies conducted on various commercial fields will be presented and discussed.

CBE Rector, Prof Emmanuel Mjema on Monday November 14, told reporters in Dodoma that the conference will be followed by the 57th graduation of the college campuses.

He said due to the importance of the conference, various mainland and isles leaders will be in attendance.

 “Sub-topics that will be presented are domestic and international trade, foreign direct investment and creativity and entrepreneurship,” he said.

Other topics to be discussed according to Prof. Mjema are business facilitation and economic cooperation, technology investment, blue economy and chain prevention and digital currency.

He said the aim of the academic debate is to build capacity and networks among researchers and other stakeholders in Africa and provide an opportunity to bring economic development through business, there are also many personal benefits.

Regarding graduation, Prof Mjema said that approximately 2,000 graduates will be awarded their certificates at various levels.

The director of the CBE Dodoma campus, Dr. Kembo Bwandi, said that the foundation of the research done was to support the government's efforts to relocate to Dodoma in order to bring out the opportunities and the results showed there are opportunities for land, education and health.
