Queen Darleen speaks out on her father

Queen Darleen

Dar es Salaam. After several weeks of rumours that singer Diamond had neglected his ailing father his sister Queen Darleen has come to the defense of her brother Diamond Platnumz.

Mzee Abdul Naseeb, has been conducting several interviews in the recent past where claimed his two celebrity children have neglected him despite leading lavish lifestyles.

Diamond and Queen Darleen, both signed to Wasafi Classic Label, share a father but are from different mothers.

Mzee Abdul has accused Diamond of refusing to make peace with him for abandoning his mother while he was still a child. Queen Darleen has opened up on their relationship with their father, saying their financial help will never be enough.

“Our father is someone who was used to earning money and there is no money that can be enough for him and we can’t keep telling the public every little thing that we do for him,” Queen Darleen told Wasafi TV.

She added that they regularly call their father to know how he is faring.

Queen Darling added that their old man is doing fine and images showing him in ill health were taken in 2015.

“ He is quite well and I was really surprised when those images emerged. Those pictures were taken in 2015 and even himself was surprised when he saw them,” she added.
