Dar es Salaam. Bongo music star Naseeb Abdul, widely known as Diamond Platnumz, has fired back at those who ridiculed his dream of becoming the richest person in the world.

During his performance at the Wasafi Festival in Ruhagwa on September 15, 2024, Diamond made it clear that he remains unfazed by the criticism and will continue to pursue his goal despite naysayers.

Diamond, who first shared his ambitious dream of achieving global wealth, faced significant backlash from the public. Critics questioned the feasibility of his goal and dismissed his aspirations as unrealistic. However, Diamond remains resolute, stating that he will not be deterred by negative opinions.

Reflecting on past achievements, Diamond recalled that in 2018, he announced his intention to purchase a Rolls Royce.

Skeptics doubted his ability to acquire such a luxury vehicle, but he succeeded in buying one the same year, a 2019 model with zero kilometers.

"When I declared my dream to become the world's richest person, many mocked and belittled me, claiming it was impossible. They criticized me harshly, but I want to tell them that with God's blessing, nothing is impossible. I will not be discouraged by their words," Diamond said.

Diamond said the Rolls Royce he imported to Tanzania cost $970,000 (equivalent to Sh2.7 billion). He said Tanzanians should be proud of his success, which he attributes to their support.

He said people should know that at his parking slot at home, there is a car worth Sh2.7 billion, a testament to his success despite the skepticism he faced.

Diamond urged people not to let others' doubts deter them from pursuing their goals.

Two weeks ago, at the launch of the Wasafi Festival 2024, Diamond reiterated his grand vision of becoming the richest person in the world.

He remains a firm believer that every goal is achievable with determination and faith.

"My ultimate dream is to be the richest person in the world. That is my goal, and I assure you that I will achieve it," Diamond affirmed.
