Chadema declares to fly its flag at half-mast to honor Ndesamburo

Dar es Salaam. Chadema has announced to fly its flag at half-mast to honor the party’s founding member, Mzee Philemon Ndesamburo.

Chadema’s Secretary General, Dr Vicent Mashinji, has directed the party’s leaders across the country to fly the party’s flag at half-mast until when the funeral for Mzee Ndesamburo has taken place.

He said the party was mourning, insisting that the death of Mzee Ndesamburo was a big blow not only to Chadema, but also to the whole nation.

"This is the nation’s loss because Mzee Ndesamburo loved transformation and development and that’s why he was ready to use his own resources to attain those goals for the benefits of many," Dr Mashinji said.
