NMB Bank supports the International Diplomatic Golf Tournament 2024

Arusha. NMB Bank has sponsored sports gear for 150 players participating in the 2024 International Diplomatic Golf Tournament.
The tournament, which started today, September 21, 2024, will end tomorrow, September 22, 2024, at the Kili Golf Course in Arusha.
The 36-hole event, organized by the Songea Mississippi (SOMI) organization, aims to raise funds to support orphanages and assist those in need.
Tournament coordinator Reinfrida Rwezaura said that, apart from Tanzania, the event also features golfers from East African countries, Dubai, and the United States.
She noted that the tournament offers a platform for players from different regions and countries to showcase their golf skills.
"It also provides an opportunity to display their sportsmanship and contributes to efforts by countries to promote tourism through sports," she said.
NMB Bank's Northern Zone Manager, Baraka Ladislaus, explained that the bank sponsored uniforms for the players, including t-shirts, caps, and special towels for wiping sweat.
Ladislaus said NMB Bank provided this sponsorship due to its commitment to supporting orphaned children and those in need.
"Apart from this sponsorship, the bank has also sent a team to participate in the tournament to engage with the community and demonstrate our abilities in sports as NMB," he said.
He further stated that NMB continues to provide various financial solutions to help the community address its economic and social challenges.
