Dar es Salaam. Tanzania Mainland Premier League continues in two venues today whereby big gun Simba Sports face an acidic test of Mwadui FC at the Uhuru Stadium.

Apart from the match, Mbeya City will host Njombe Mji at the Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya Region. The two matches are very important to all four teams in the ongoing league.

It is a tricky test for the Msimbazi Street giants due to the fact that Mwadui FC is one of the strong team in the league and managed to win 2-1 against strong Singida United at their Mwadui Complex during the opening of this League’s season.

Mwadui FC head coach Khalid Adam said victory against Simba SC is a must at the Uhuru Stadium today.

Adam admitted that Simba SC is a strong team, but said his side has recruited the best players whose main target is victory in every encounter.

“I’m proud of having very committed players; they are good and want to do wonders in the league. I will miss the services of four players, but we registered the fine players who know their commitment in the team assignments,” said Adam.

He also showed his appreciation from the match officials who were not biased in the previous league matches.

“As the league enters third round, no complain raised over the referees, you win, you lose and draw as per mistakes in the field, so far match officials have shown their professional and if they will maintain the status, we are sure to win the silverware,” he said.

Simba SC assistant head coach Jackson Mayanja said they were ready for the encounter to collect all three points. He said they know the importance of the match and believe players will show their commitments. “Our target is to win the title this season. We started with 7-0 victory against Ruvu Shooting before the goal less draw against Azam FC, and it was disappointing results, we need to return in our original top form although the match is not easy,” he said.
