Dar es Salaam. Tanzania's national football team coach, Hemed "Morocco" Suleiman, has expressed confidence in his team's chances of performing well in the upcoming World Cup qualification match, scheduled to take place in Morocco on March 26.

Suleiman made these remarks while discussing the preparations for the match, which will be held at Honneur Stadium in Oujda.

He said that the team will depart tomorrow at 9am on a Qatar Airways flight, and that all players are in high spirits heading into the game.

The Morocco team is also aiming for a win to qualify for the World Cup finals, set to be held in Canada, Mexico, and the United States from June 11 to July 19 next year.

Currently, Taifa Stars sit in third place in Group E with six points, following victories over Niger and Zambia. Niger holds second place, also with six points, but with a superior goal difference of +3 (5-2) compared to Taifa Stars' 0 (2-2).

Zambia is in fourth place with three points from four matches, while Congo Brazzaville, suspended by FIFA, remains without points in fifth place. Eritrea, initially part of Group E, withdrew from the competition.

"All the players are in high spirits, ready to battle Morocco, which leads the group with nine points after winning all three of their opening matches. We need a positive result to catch up with them. We require a win that will not only increase our points but also help us avenge the 2-0 loss we suffered at home," said Suleiman.

He also mentioned that two players, Charles M'Mombwa, who plays for Newcastle United Jets in Australia, and Seleman Mwalimu of Wydad Athletic Club, will join the team in Morocco.

The upcoming clash against Morocco is critical for Taifa Stars' World Cup qualification ambitions.

A victory would move them closer to one of the top two spots in the group, greatly enhancing their chances of progressing in the qualification campaign.

This match will serve as a true test of character and determination as Tanzania looks to keep its World Cup dreams alive.
