Coming from love, returning to love

What you need to know:

  • To love is to call a place home. To create reasons to return, to understand that every departure is, in fact, a foundation for a return… Like migrating birds, like standing at the doorstep of your childhood home after years… When a person comes from love and returns to love, their soul feels complete.

Some roads take a person to places they have never known. Some believe these roads will last forever, while others know that every journey has a return. But the most meaningful journey is coming from love and returning to love. This is the most beautiful cycle of life—because a person is truly complete when they return to where they belong.

Sometimes, on a cold winter day, sometimes on an autumn evening with a gentle breeze, and sometimes under the scorching summer sun… A person sets out on a journey. Some leave willingly, some out of necessity. Some to leave their past behind, others to chase their dreams. But within every journey, there is a hidden sense of incompleteness, and with every step, a longing grows.

When taking that first step, one rarely thinks about the possibility of returning. New roads, unknown cities, unfamiliar faces… Everything feels like an adventure. But as time passes, even the newest things become ordinary, and even the most different things become familiar. That is when the heart begins to whisper: “You don’t belong here.” In that moment, you realise that every place you go, every scene you witness is just a faint reflection of an image you carry inside.

Some loves are like a scent ingrained in your skin. No matter how far you go, no matter how much things change, the trace of that love never fades. Like an old perfume lingering in the air as you pass a street, like a forgotten melody unexpectedly reaching your ears, it suddenly resurfaces. And in that moment, you face the most genuine emotions you’ve hidden inside.

To love is to call a place home. To create reasons to return, to understand that every departure is, in fact, a foundation for a return… Like migrating birds, like standing at the doorstep of your childhood home after years… When a person comes from love and returns to love, their soul feels complete.

Love, like a calling

Sometimes, the place you love calls you back. You can’t explain it in words, but you can feel it. As if an invisible hand is gently pulling you, as if a voice is whispering from afar… When you realise that nowhere else truly feels like home, a direction forms within you. And eventually, that direction leads you back to the love where you belong.

When returning to love, you are not the same as when you left. The dreams you carried when you set out may have changed along the way. Time may have worn you down, and you may have had to accept that some things are no longer the same. But no matter what, love always remains. Because true love transcends time.

And when you return, you see that nothing is exactly as you left it. The familiar streets may be a little older, the faces you love a little more tired. But what truly matters is whether the warmth in their eyes still exists. Because when you return to love, you don’t reunite with the past—you reunite with emotions.

The story of departure and return

Every departure teaches a person something. The lessons learnt along the way give meaning to the return. If you had never left, you might not have appreciated love as deeply. If you had never longed for it, you wouldn’t have understood how precious it is to return.

Perhaps leaving is a way of testing love. Sometimes, no matter how far you go, the emptiness inside remains. Other times, it is only by leaving that you realise how deep love truly runs. But most importantly, when you return, you are no longer the same person. You have become someone who holds on to love more tightly, who understands more deeply, who appreciates more profoundly.

Sometimes, roads make people forget, and sometimes, they make them remember. Coming from love and returning to love is exactly that: remembering. Remembering where you came from, why you love, why you are returning…

And the return…

The moment of return is always different. There is excitement, fear, curiosity. “Will everything be as I left it?” you wonder. But what truly matters is whether love remains as you left it. If that warmth is still there, if the eyes that once waited for you still carry familiarity, nothing else matters.

Sometimes, you feel it in an embrace, sometimes in a smile. At times, a familiar scent in the air welcomes you at the street corner; other times, it’s the melody of an old song stirring your soul. And in that moment, you realise that years of longing dissolve in a single instant.

Coming from love and returning to love is a story of completion. Not just a journey, not just an arrival, but a reunion. A person may not always return to the same place, but they return to the feelings they once knew. And one day, they truly understand that no matter where the road leads, the most important thing is to never lose themselves in the journey.

And perhaps, this is the most beautiful journey of all.
